9 Books That Feel Like Nora Ephron Films

I recently rewatched two of the three films that make up the famed Nora Ephron rom-com gold trilogy. I stayed up late one night watching You've Got Mail when I couldn't sleep. A few days later, on a rainy and cold Saturday night, I watched When Harry Met Sally while curled up with a pile of blankets and a bowl of popcorn.
It feels like a necessary tradition each fall to watch these films, something I started doing annually in 2018. Since I reached my 30s and started reading more romance novels, I have cultivated a new appreciation for a good rom-com. The ones that are well-told, that explore the characters in a meaningful way, and that are full of the best dialogue.









Gilmore Girls and Nora Ephron's films sit in a similar corner of my mind. They are funny, warm, witty, and romantic. And I am perpetually seeking out that perfect combination in book form. And I have a few to recommend to you.
