Favorites of 2024: Debut novels, love stories, and unexpected delights

Consider these the runners-up to my Top 10

It's been an annual practice of mine this time of year to reflect on my reading and distill down my favorite reading experiences into a few categories. Reflecting on my reading life has been key to understanding my reading taste and having a more enriching reading life.

Last year, I shared these lists in individual posts, but this year, I rounded them up into one post for you to peruse. I've broken them into three categories: Debut Novels, Favorite Love Stories, and Unexpected Delights. On Sunday, I'll share my Top 10 Books of the Year. 

This year, I'll be clocking in at around 95 books read. Numbers aren't too important to me at this point in my reading life because I have a healthy, established reading routine. I share that number to say that I read a lot of books this year, and these stuck around in my mind as great reading experiences!
