Hello, friends! How is your week going? I've admittedly been feeling down between the inauguration earlier this week and the devastation in LA. I'm trying to temper my news intake, so hopefully, this edition of Footnotes brings you a little joyful scrolling.
We had our first big snowstorm on Sunday night this past week, and it's been really nice to be cozied up inside while it's frigid outside. I've been making soup, baking cookies, watching good TV, listening to some fantastic audiobooks, and crocheting away. A welcome respite.
I got a hot water bottle for Christmas, and it has improved my winter by 100%. I can't believe I didn't have one sooner. And I'm now considering making a cute cover for it.
