Hello, friends! How was your weekend? I had an unexpected summer weekend off at home, and we made the most of it. On Friday night, we saw Materialists (loved it), then took a long bike ride on Saturday to break in my new bike. On Sunday, we day-tripped to Monhegan Island where we hiked around the island, grabbed a beer at the brewery, and spotted puffins, harbor seals, and porpoises on the ferry ride home. It felt really lovely to spend most of the weekend outside!
I am excited and overwhelmed by the number of new releases recently! I read this buzzy book last week, and it lived up to the hype for me.
I took myself on a solo matinee movie date a few Sundays ago after a particularly social week. It was lovely to spend 90 minutes tucked in a dark theater watching this delightful movie.
I’ve been on the hunt for a wooden beaded bag for the summer after I missed out on one from The Sak in my ThredUp cart a few weeks ago. I think they look so cute with dresses for the summer! I’ve got my eye on this vintage one or this more tote-like one.
