We don't need more book recommendations; we just need the right ones.
I'm a rather intentional reader. I've shared how I've introduced a minimalist approach to my reading life and how beneficial that's been. It's not always perfect, but it's an excellent north star. The main idea is that you define your reading values and priorities and happily miss out on everything else.
At the end of the summer, I felt dissatisfied with my reading life. I had read a few gems over the summer but felt disconnected from who I was as a reader. I found myself thinking, "what do I even like reading?"
This prompted me to take some time away from my Bookstagram. I logged out at the start of September and haven't logged back in since. A curious thing has happened since then
