I just finished this last weekend, actually. I share so many of your thoughts. While reading it, I wasn't aware of how much I was loving it until I finished. It packs a lot but everything feels fleshed out and believable. Definitely a new favorite!
I also really loved this book. It was an incredible debut. The way it slowly unfolded from that first jarring chapter was such a special way to write a very complicated love story. I'm looking forward to more from the author!
I'm reading this one right now. I had been listening to it on audio, and then I wanted to read it before bed last night, too, so I downloaded it on my Kindle. It's GREAT on audio, too. I am about 40% of the way through and am enjoying it more than I thought I would. This would make a great movie.
